Forte International is committed to promoting global learning, cultural exchange and knowledge dissemination. Ever since its inception, Forte has facilitated thousands of high school students from many countries to study in the US and reside with US families.

We now enthusiastically invite international high school students to participate in our F-1 student program. F-1 program participants will be granted an I-20 form to gain an F-1 student visa, admitted into an accredited US high school and live with a caring US host family.

Want to study English, learn about the American culture, make new friends or desire to receive higher education in the US? Then there is nothing better than this opportunity!

F-1 School Information

Forte International has extensive experience in study abroad applications, with a country-wide network with all kinds of high schools in the United States. According to the applicant's interest and conditions, we can arrange different types of schools with different strengths according to student’s request. Each school has different price of tuition. Tuition price differs from year to year. We are able to arrange students to schools with tuitions ranging from $4,000 - $20,000 per academic year according to student’s economic conditions. Students enrolled attend classes, receive grades and participate in extracurricular activities. Students learn more about the U.S. culture from the American teachers, counselors, and teenagers.

Host Family

Forte International arranges host family that provides a safe and caring environment for the student to stay in their home. They provide love, friendship, support and guidance. The student will be treated as a “family member” of their family, not just a visitor. Our host families come from all areas of the U.S. and represent different socio-economic backgrounds. They live in urban, suburban and rural areas, and include single parent and two parent families. While some of the families that host do not have children, most do have children. If the host family has teenage children, the exchange student can attend the same school.

Hosting an exchange student, for most families, is not very expensive. It is necessary to provide all meals eaten inside the home. Generally this includes breakfast, dinner, and snacks during the week. This usually does not include school lunches. The student is responsible for meals eaten outside of the home. If the family has a meal at a restaurant, the student is encouraged to offer to pay for his/her meal.

Local Representative

Forte International arranges local representatives that serve as the primary contact person for students, host families, and schools. The Local rep. needs to be compassionate and patient with young people and ready to share his or her culture while learning new cultural perspectives.

Local Rep's Basic Duties Include:
-Recruit host families.
-Interview and evaluate each prospective host family in their home before student placements are finalized.
-Organize a pre and post orientation with the host family.
-Contact schools and arrange student enrollment.
-Maintain frequent contact with student, family and school.

Forte International will arrange host families, local representatives and an area director to give students guidance. As with anything new, flexibility, understanding and communication with all family members are aspects of a positive hosting experience.
